The cohesive devices in this study are classified based on Halliday and Hasan?s (1980) Cohesion in English. There are 20 grammatical cohesive devices found in the banners, and Nominal Ellipsis was found the most. While the least occurrence were Verbal Ellipsis and Temporal Conjunction. There were also some Grammatical Cohesive Devices which did not occur in the data such as Endophora, Nominal Substitution, Clausal Ellipsis, Adversative Conjunction, Logical Sequence Conjunction, Contrast Conjunction, Non-contrast conjunction, and Expansion Conjunction.
