This study was conducted to give description of a two-year-old Chinese Indonesian child?s language acquisition. The object of this study is phonological process. In this research, the writer tries to reveal the process of phonological development, of a two-year-old child, and gives description about it. The theory that the writer uses in this study is the theory of phonological processes as suggested by Ingram (1989). The subject of investigation is a two-year-old Chinese Indonesian boy who lives in Banjarmasin. This study shows how the speech of the two-year-old child had a tendency to lead to a single-word term, as stated by Yule (1996).
