Abstract

The Thesis is about Communication Strategies between Teacher and Kindergarten Students. Descriptive qualitative was the research method used by the writer to conduct the research. The types of Communication Strategies used by the teacher, and the students at Singapore National Academy (SNA), Sidoarjo, and the factor that influences the communication problem between teacher and students. The writer used Littlewood?s theory to analyze the data of Communication Strategies. The result of this study concluded that the teacher mostly used Paraphrase? Strategy, and the students mostly used Non-Linguistic Resources. The factor that influences the communication problem was generally because limited amount of vocabulary, and feeling difficult in expressing their ideas.
