    Abstract

    Stakeholders are a major source of uncertainty in construction project. Successful construction project management can be carried out only when the responsible managers take into account the potential influence of the project’s stakeholders. This paper concentrates on identification variables of stakeholder salience that influence in construction project and starting to address these variables into a small number of factors that adequately represent the original set of variables.To complete this research objective, literature review, interview, and questionnaire survey were used in this study. The data obtain from a questionnaire survey to 197 respondents were analysis by using factor analysis. The results of this research show that from 16 stakeholder variables can be defined into four number of representative factors. The first factor for stakeholder empowerment are considered and more important and have greater influence on construction project including stakeholder engagemen process, stakeholder intrinsic motivation, stakeholder opportunity to perform,stakeholder ability to perform, and task behaviors.
