Abstract

This study is accomplished to reveal the factors affecting lateness in packing list released that could cause the lateness in delivery time. The factors affecting the lateness in packing list released which has been analyzed are the problems in production area and problems in capacity planning and material resource planning through PT XYZ?s IT system. The research was conducted in garment industry, specifically in PPC (Production Planning Control) Department and Production Department. The analysis techniques used descriptive statistic analysis. By the end of the research, there are suggestions that PT XYZ should implementing the Total Quality Management in order to produce the best quality, yet deliver on time and meet the customer requirement date of delivery time.
