Abstract

The stiff competition in the Indonesia banking industry can be seen through aggressive promotions and recruitment To win the tight competition, banks have to think and develop new strategies in marketing their banking products and services to the right target One of the most chosen strategy is hiring sales force or usually in banking it is called sales executive (SE). This research is classified as quantitative. By using the causal-explanatory research which is multiple regression analysis, writers would like to discuss how work effort, creativity, work experience, personal motivation and work pressure can affect the BII Surabaya Sales Executives' performance. The data are collected from questionnaire which is primary data and internal data of BII which is secondary data. After doing the analysis, the writers found out that Work Effort, Creativity, Work Experience and Work Pressure significantly influence the BIT Subabaya Sales Executives' Performance. The writers would like to discuss about those factors in order to help BII in the future to choose the right qualification in hiring Sales Executives who can improve the performance of BII.
