Abstract

Odour Sensor Technology has increased rapidly, therefore this can be used to detect an odour. Each odour has its own characteristic, this can be used to identify the odour. The purpose of this final project is to detect an odour using fuzzy logic methodology. There were DAT Files which any 15 kinds of odour. The data were created from 4 sensors: TGS 2600, TGS 2610, TGS 2611 and TGS 2620. Each kind of odour had 20 concentrated representing the odour used as the database. The others data would be used as the data testing to detect a kind of odour. The method of recognition was used Fuzzy Logic methodology. This project used 2 types of Fuzzy Logic system. The first Fuzzy Logic system produced accuracy up to 96% and the second Fuzzy Logic system produced accuracy up to 99%.
