Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Leadership Style on Learning Organizations with the Management Control System and Organization Commitment as intervening variables. The method used is quantitative survey approach. The data collection technique using a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale. The respondent of this research is a structural official of a private university in Surabaya with a total sample of 102 people. Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) is used to analyze data. The results of the study show that Leadership Style, Management Control System, and Organizational Commitment partially influence the Learning Organization That is, to create a sustainable Learning Organization, a leadership pattern is needed that is able to direct and protect the members of the organization through the support of the Management Control System and Organization Commitment. Improving the Learning Organization indirectly through the mediator of the Management Control System and Commitment Organizations has better results than directly depending on the Leadership Style. Therefore, this study encourages leaders to implement the Management Control System as a structured tool and build Organizational Commitment to improve learning capacity.
