      Abstract

      Investors are individuals or other entities who make investments with the hope of getting profits in the future. Investor decisions have rational and irrational behavior. Investor behavior is influenced by various biases that develop from behavioral finance theory. This study aims to determine the effect of availability bias, overconfidence bias and representativeness bias on investment decisions of young investors in Surabaya. This research is an associative research with quantitative methods. The number of samples in this study amounted to 82 respondents. This research will use a questionnaire that will be distributed via Google form. The data analysis method in this study used PLS software. This study resulted in the representativeness bias and availability bias variables having no significant effect on stock investment decisions for young investors in Surabaya, while the results of data analysis showed that overconfidence bias had a significant effect on stock investment decisions for young investors in Surabaya.
