This is a study of word-formation processes applied in the new expressions on chatting language of Ragnarok Online Games, how those expressions are formed, the frequency of each type of word-formation processes and the predominant types. The writer collected 60 minutes conversation in the Ragnarok Online Games. Then, the writer analyzed the new expressions which cannot be found in the dictionary. The writer found that there are five types of word-formationon processes applied are acronym, clipping, miscellaneous, back-formation, and blending. The predominant type of word-formation processes that occur in the chatting language on Ragnarok Online Games is acronyms. It produces 29 expressions (47%). The second word-formation process commonly used is clipping, it produces 19 expressions (31%). The third type that is miscellaneous, it produces 9 expressions (14%). The fourth type is backformation, it produces 3 expressions (5%). The last type of word-formation process is blending, it produces 2 expressions (3%).
