Most of the people acknowledge that ISO simply act upon as the "symbol" of quality product/service. In contrast, IS0 is not just a "symbol"; it creates the quality of the company as a whole and gives many benefits to the company which uses it. The global and greater competition among companies has forced company to increase their value in order to win the competition. IS0 is one of the way and need to be considered by the companies as a comparative advantage to win the competition. Given that PT. MIF is a freight forwarding corporation which play against the tight competition market of so many players in the similar business and the scope of business of PT. MIF not only engaged in domestic business, but also the international and logistics business units that definitely required the existence of a certified quality system in order to meet the global quality standard of IS0 Certification. After achieving the IS0 certification, the company then will go to the next level, which is measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of IS0 implementation post the IS0 certification and identify the 3 important factors needed to well-implement the certification.
