Abstract

This Final Assignment Report examines the influence of price, promotion, and income toward quantity demanded of Company XYZ's main products. In this research, we use secondary data which are taken from the internal database of Company XYZ and from Bank Indonesia. Based on those data, we conduct a regression analysis to know the equation of the model. The result shows that there is a negative relationship between price and income toward sales demand, and positive relationship between promotion and sales demand. Our further research is about how much the elasticity of each variable toward sales demanded. In this part, we found that price is not significantly related to the sales demand for Business to Business Company. In addition, income has bigger effect to the sales demand of the company rather than promotion expenses. It is explained by promotion expense elasticity of demand and income elasticity of demand.
