This research is a part of the authors? main job in PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) related to the customs clearance of handled container process. It is designed to find out whether skill, effort, working condition, readiness of the tool, sophistication of the tool and sufficiency of the tool significantly influence time inefficiency in customs clearance of handled container process or not. Observation was conducted within 20 days. After the data was evaluated using Multiple Regression, it is found that the effort, sophistication of the tool and sufficiency of the tool are significant factors that affect time inefftciency in customs clearance of handled container process. Besides, it is proven that effort is the most significant factor that influences time inefftciency in customs clearance of handled container process.
