A variety of factors led to the repeated occurrences of anti-Chinese movement in Indonesia. Since 1965, the Chinese communities were in a standstill condition until the collapse of the new order in 1998, the Chinese gradually gained back their rights. Chinese associations have re-opened their gates, the new Chinese communities were established everywhere. After more than ten years of reformation, the activities of Chinese communities were organized by people over sixty.
