Abstract
In the past two years, the Chinese Douyin has begun to enter the world, named TikTok. The popularity of TikTok in Indonesia continues to rise, especially because of the impact of this epidemic, more and more people begin to use TikTok. Among them, students from Petra Christian University in Surabaya, Indonesia, started to use TikTok, when TikTok first entered Indonesia, and some college students started to use it only at a recent stage. The author of this research analyzed the theory of �use and satisfaction� and found that Petra Christian University students have different needs and motivations when using TikTok, if they play different roles, and their needs will gradually change. The purpose of this research is to understand the motivation, continuous use behaviors and needs of the students of Petra Christian University to use TikTok, and to help TikTok increase its popularity in Indonesia through the analysis of user needs, and to help TikTok�s development in Indonesia.
