Abstract

Entertainment industry, specialized i n music industry, is finding its competition on its saturated moment. As one of the most respected artist management company in Indonesia, Pos Entertainment nowadays faces a tight competition and non-conducive business atmosphere because of the degrading market buying power and issues of piracy. Their credibility and performances are their main power to keep exists in the entertainment industry. After finishing the 4-months internship program in the field of entertainment, the writer realized that there is no' one ever observed the entertainment industry in a serious and empirical way with the focus on the level of artists' satisfaction toward their artist management. Therefore the writer conducts this research because the writer thinks that it would be a significant research for the company and also for the development of the entertainment industry, especially for Artist Management business. The methodology of this research is explorative research with a judgmental sampling approach. The writer use descriptive analysis to know the level of satisfaction of artists toward their artist management and Factor Analysis to find the most significant factor which influence the level of artists' satisfaction. After following the systematical procedure of the analysis, the writer successfully finds out the most significant factors. Transparency and Supportive Relationship took the first place. The following significant factors would be Internal and External Development Support and Management's Competencies and Capability.
