Abstract

User satisfaction has held an important position in an organization as one of the measurements for the success of service delivery of e-learning systems. The objectives of this study are to evaluate user satisfaction and examine the influence between user satisfaction and the qualities in the e-learning systems. A theoretical framework is developed, through the integration of e-learning satisfaction (ELS) theory (Wang, 2003) and also global satisfaction theory, Doll et al. (1988) cited in Xiao (2002). The analysis was organized from a set of data which involve 190 responses from end-users confirming some degree of positive association between user satisfaction and the qualities in the e-learning system.

Keywords: User satisfaction, e-learning systems, ELS theory, global satisfaction theory.
