Abstract
Nowadays green issues have become the popular trend in retailing industry. This phenomenon is supported by the emerging of green consumer as the potential niche market. Many largest retailers in the developed country have been implemented the green retailing concept to achieve business sustainability through operational cost reduction, increasing the operational efficiency, developing the store image, contributing to the society welfare, and preserving the environment. The real examples of green retailing concept implementation are presented to enrich the understanding of green retailing concept. The conclusion is that by implementing the green retailing concept, retail business is not only contributing to the environment preservation but also sustaining its business.
