PREDIKSI KESULITAN KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN PROPERTI, KONSTRUKSI, DAN REAL ESTAT YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

The slowing of economic growth in Indonesia could cause financial distress for companies in property, construction, and real estate sectors as these companies has an enormous amount of GDP contributions in Indonesia. Financial difficulties are related to the companies� capability to accomplish their long or short term responsibilities. Assessing the financial status of a company can be done with discriminant analysis by looking at financial ratios such as liquidity ratio, profitability, activity, and solvability. This research used a comparative method, purposive sampling technique with the total samples of 81 companies involved in multiple sectors such as property, construction, and real estate. The data collection method used is documentation. Discriminant analysis results showed that liquidity ratio(CA/CL), profitability (EBIT/TA and NI/SALES), activity (SALES/TA), and solvability (BV/TL and TL/EQUITY) could be used to differentiate which company is not and which company is experiencing financial distress.
