      Abstract

      A schools multi-purpose dormitory building has an important role in supporting the learning and development process of students. Biomimicry is an innovative method that is obtained through natural design inspiration. The use of biomimicry in the interior design of a multi-purpose dormitory building can provide several advantages, especially for creating spaces that are more functional, comfortable, and environmentally friendly. The method used is design thinking with the stages of preparation, understanding, ideation, implementation, and test, as well as Final Output. The final design of this dormitory multipurpose building design uses the concept of biomimicry with the title The Ravens Den. This concept is a concept that uses the biomimicry method in which this concept adapts the life of the crow which is the mascot of the Karangturi school logo. the crow was taken as a concept because apart from being a brand image of the Karangturi school, the crow is a bird that describes a lot of the character and values of the Karang Turi school, some of which are ingenuity, solidarity, and maintaining cleanliness. Therefore, the forest which is the habitat of crows is taken as a concept to represent the biomimicry of the habitat and behavior of crows. have benefits for users.
