ANALISA KAPABILITAS PROSES UNTUK PROSES INJEKSI DAN BLOW MOULDING

This research attempts to apply capability process(Cpk) and DMAIC method to improve the output quality in the process production in a rigid packaging company. The product of this company is distributed nationally and it has the reputation of well made product. Before, the product distributed it would get inspected by the company’s Quality Assurance Department. If the product has the same specification of the standard it can distributed to customer. Define the problem was the first step, the problem was to check the capability of each process based on the product’s dimension specification. Measure the product’s dimension with the calipers to get capability process score. Analyze, the capability process score which less than 1 should get fixed and make the fishbone diagram. Improve the process based on the analyze result and the imrpovement plan was to repair the moulding, make a new specification standard, or to repair the process based on the fishbone diagram.
