Abstract
Reading is a receptive skill that can help students learn and acquire grammar and vocabulary. It gives language learner necessary inputs to produce the language. However, students often see reading classes as a challenging class because in reading classes they have to read texts and work on a lot of reading exercises. Students often feel bored and lazy to read. When there was a shift in the education context due to COVID-19, the resources for reading classes also shifted from printed to online materials. There are a lot of online resources that teachers can use to make online reading classes more interesting. This paper will discuss the students’ perspectives on reading classes in times of pandemics.
